I came back Scotland after qualifying because I love my home and wanted to inspire the next generation. I'm lucky to even be in a school but I'm not doing what I qualified to do because of the issues with supply/temp contracts. #letusteach

Teachers are campaigning to end the casualisation of our profession. We have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic and deserve better from the Scottish Government. Thank you for your support. Please retweet. https://t.co/cPqABBc0Dp… @S_A_Somerville@agcolehamilton
Met some of my brand new P3/2 class today. What a pleasure. We spent some (planned) time talking about Covid-19 and then some (unplanned) time talking about the lightning and flooding. Very exciting. Looking forward to meeting the rest of the class on Friday.
Started the day with @FischyMusic assembly. I’ve seen on placements how much the kids love their music but it is so lovely to see the joy on my own kids faces today. Much needed burst of positivity today (for mum and dad too)
