High blood pressure is a silent but serious threat — and knowing your numbers can save your life.
Check your blood pressure regularly and track your readings over time. Aim to keep your blood pressure below 140/90 mmHg — and remember: the lower, the better for your heart, brain, and kidneys.
Taking action today protects your health tomorrow.
Know your numbers. Take control. Stay healthy.
One of the things they don’t tell you about having a stroke is the abandonment from friends. I’ve seen one once (a year ago) and one twice in over a year.i speak to one by text but it’s just not the same. I have a great Husband and 2 adult kids but it’s not the same.
@mikesbaldwins As someone who’s had a stroke … I’d absolutely love a bath like that. The cold water going in/out would be a small price to pay for the luxury of a bath
@merseyrail Great big ‘well done’ for the great service today,
I used the trains for the first time today using my electric wheelchair. ALL of the staff at Rock Ferry,Liverpool Central and Bebington were amazing and I really appreciated that they didn’t mind when I was a bit slow
@BalogunAbass12 I’d of told her to stop him before it went that far but in that moment I’d tell her to get him down and then leave the house. Obviously we don’t have the same parenting ideals anymore
@TweeetsOfDogs When I was very ill in rehabilitation after my stroke, a little therapy dog was brought in to try and give me focus and a little bit of furry comfort
@merseyrail I’m a new wheelchair user and I just wanted to say how much the new trains made my journey super easy. My son push’s me and found the access very easy to manage. This will help give me my freedom back
