We had a great afternoon at The Create Centre in Bristol for life skills. The crew experienced different life scenarios and learned about aspects of life such as food, traffic and fire safety and also practiced making 999 calls. @StAnnes_EHS

Today was our last children’s worship. We are so incredibly proud of year 6 - they have worked so hard and grown in confidence. @StAnnes_EHS

Today in art we created our expressionist self portraits inspired by Alexej von Jawlensky. We experimented with oil pastels creating shapes and colour palettes then had fun creating our pieces. @StAnnes_EHS

Year 6 are creating posters to showcase different invertebrates from molluscs to arachnids. We are looking forward to seeing the finished products. @StAnnes_EHS @JCockramStAnnes

In art we have been studying Expressionism and have learned that artists used colour to express their emotions in their work. The crew created their own versions of an emotions colour chart @StAnnes_EHS

Enterprise week has started with year 6 researching costs for our cookies. We worked out how many cookies we can make for £20. @StAnnes_EHS

We are learning about Impressionism in and today finished our ‘journey through impressionism’. We created these wonderful illustrations to depict the six themes of impressionist art. @AWebbStAnnes @StAnnes_EHS

We reflected on our last year at primary school this morning and created some beautiful artwork to celebrate our time at St Anne’s. @AWebbStAnnes @StAnnes_EHS
