High school English teacher, feminist, mother, dog & cat owner, vegetarian, Jazz fan, Utes football fan, Long-Covid sufferer, just trying to keep on keeping on.
Some days are better. Many other days are worse. To be honest, it doesn't matter. Living with #LongCovid is my life now. After two years I just needed to put into words what life looks like so I can come to terms with myself as a shell of what I once was. /end
normalize carrying a book on outings so that you can enjoy a few minutes of reading during idle moments on the train or walking up the street or whenever you wish to escape into another world for a minute or two.
It's incredibly depressing to go back and look at old articles about Jan. 6.
Over and over people in power were warned: a coup without consequences is a trial run. "But not here," they said. "He's finished. Everyone will remember."
Natalie Cline attacked schools, doxxed teachers, spied on teacher training, accused us of "grooming children" for sex trafficking and got away with all of it. Attacking a child was a bridge too far. See @UTBoardofEd bylaws. Report her. Consequences in last 📸. #utpol#uted

@aurorabrshealis @debbieksl @kslnewsradio $400K home needs $80,000 down payment and roughly $2400 monthly payment. That means a take home salary of roughly $10k/month. Who makes $150k a year just "starting out"? Starter homes should be affordable on the median income ($32k individual/$75k family in Utah). So <= $200k.
