I am thrilled to announce my role as Guest Editor in the groundbreaking June 2024 issue of “Seminars in Ultrasound, CT, and MRI.”
This issue marks a significant milestone as it focuses entirely on Dermatologic Ultrasound, a notion that would have been inconceivable a decade ago in radiology.
The publication of this dedicated issue symbolizes a formal recognition of the advancements in this imaging subspecialty, bolstered by solid evidence in the field.
I sincerely thank Dr. Gabriela Gayer, the Journal's Editor, for providing the platform to review a diverse range of valuable applications.
I am immensely grateful to all the contributors whose invaluable insights and assistance have contributed to this issue's excellence.
It's worth noting that all the articles featured have been indexed in Pubmed.
You can access the full electronic and printed version of the issue through this link: https://t.co/8gIhhm8C6g.

I don’t want next year to be “the one”. I also don’t want it to be “my year”, someone else can have it. I would like to slip through 2024 quietly and unnoticed, to remain as lightly scuffed as possible. An adequate, inconsequential, nothing-to-write-home-about 366 days (it’s a leap year, so already unsettling enough) would be just fine. I like my years like I like my tea: with biscuits. That’ll do for me.
For the love of toast, can we PLEASE STOP referring to the pandemic in the past tense?
Just because countries like the UK have chosen blissful ignorance, SARS2 shows no sign whatsoever of adopting predictable patterns of infection. People are still suffering, and will suffer.
And I’m still on my train 10 minutes before it’s due to leave! But apparently, I was a ‘no show’…
Maybe accessibility staff need to spend a day in our shoes, so they see the hurdles we have to jump over just to get to them 20 minutes early!

@RtInterest@SCoRMembers Thank you to all our contributors and members who attended this afternoon’s meeting. And thanks especially to those who traveled from Australia and the USA. It’s lovely to share experiences from different settings and share similar experiences.

An incredible turnout for today’s #DoctorsStrike#BMAPayRally in Manchester outside of #CPC23.
We will not stop fighting for our patients and our colleagues until govt delivers safe staffing and fixes staff retention!
Here are some of my fav photos from today.

Dear 🇬🇧,
Now is not the time for fence-sitting. Either you stand with a corrupt govt engineering the collapse of your health system or you're with NHS workers as we fight back against the greatest assault on public health in our lifetimes. I know where I stand. Do you?

1M people are waiting to be seen by a radiographer but we do not have enough staff to meet the demand. The UK vacancy rate for radiographers is currently 12.7%.
Members at @uclh are asking the government what they plan to do about this recruitment crisis? #respectradiography
