@RogersHistory Most of my classes ‘like me’-1 class has decided they hate authority, hate English, and hate me. Recently i’ve been graded down in pupil voice where my HOD gave too much credence to the student’s comments about me- the final straw, now to look at a career change. So done.

I’m really sick of the media referring to ‘the unions’ as if they are a separate entity to the millions of working people that they represent. ‘The unions’ are not orchestrating strikes, workers are standing up and fighting to save the services they provide.
Teachers leaving work on a Friday mentally and physically dead to the world and incapable of life and then only partially recovering by Monday is why we are in the mess we are. Because if you do that time and again, you burnout.
