@rachel_vangor A8: Great question! I think my students would be fascinated by any of the projects we've done but I think the Love-O-Meter and Stoplight were cool and very appealing to the eye! #wemake19
@rachel_vangor A7: My confidence has definitely increased but I still need to work on working through my frustrations, trouble shooting, time management, and knowing the materials / their names by heart #wemake19
@rachel_vangor A6: This class has taught me to embrace a growth mindset and while it is difficult, it has helped me as an educator because I project that mindset onto my students. I have seen my students opening taking more chances! #wemake19
@CourtneyG1511 A3: By taking one step at a time and allowing group collaboration when trying to make because I think it would be easier for me at times if you guys were with me struggling not just virtually LOL #wemake19
@CourtneyG1511 A2: Literally none prior to this class inspiring me to incorporate little pieces when I can. My classroom is next to the old "KMAC" room which had a purpose for making but they have not used it since I have been there, this is my second year. #wemake19
@CourtneyG1511 A1: Yes it is easier, but as the school year progresses, I am having more and more trouble finding time to Make...which is upsetting! #wemake19
A10: To be honest I am happy to see all the makerspace aha moments because I am yet to have mine, back to the drawing board tomorrow hahaha My aha from the chapter was that "Skip the Preload" ... Less is more:) I guess I shall see haha #wemake19
Thank you all for participating:)
I want to leave you with my favorite quote from the chapter, "Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep." - Scott Adams
Have a great rest of your week! #wemake19
A9: I have my students do "error analysis" after each quiz or test to help them reflect and see how they can improve. I also have my advisees reflect every once in a while on friday or monday mornings. Honestly, not enough... #wemake19
@anthony_gambina A8: They will start feeling more comfortable with troubleshooting through all the trial and error they will go through. Some students may be better at it than others and they can help their peers! #wemake19
