On April 12, I was given the opportunity to teach a lesson with my @NCStateCED PLT group Ms. Rice, Ms. Fondow, and Ms. Miller! We led our class of @CCMMSRedwolves students through a scavenger hunt with math problems to review topics theyโve learned earlier this semester #ED204SLP
@MsSamNC I totally agree that creative writing is so beneficial to spark creativity in students! It sounds like your lesson was very effective in sparking that creativity. I really like that they were able to create their own characters with their own stories. Very cool lesson! :)
@MsLeeintheLab Your lesson was so perfect for a middle school science class! Hands-on activities definitely help students visualize the topics that are talked about in class. I love that you had three different ways to display kinetic and potential energy. Very cool lesson!
@MsScienceman@NCStateCED@CCMMSRedwolves This is such a great idea! SEL work is so important in schools and your lesson definitely had a positive impact on your students. I agree that students are more likely to be open with you when they feel safe and respected. Amazing job! :)
@maddysmath@FosterMissi I love that you used a well-known game to incorporate math problems! This is a great use of games to review topics. I think it is so sweet that they didn't want to go to lunch because your lesson was so awesome! Great job!! :)
@educatorkkim@CCMMSRedwolves@NCStateCED I loved hearing about how y'all taught your workshop! This is such a cool way to teach poetry. I liked that you allowed the students to create their own poems and be able to share out at the end of class! I agree that if students see you motivated, they will be too! Amazing job!
This experience was incredible as these students really engaged and enjoyed this lesson. It was a game but also an opportunity for them to review math topics. I learned that teachers are able to incorporate fun games into math class to make solving math problems fun!๐
Had fun exploring different ways to use/display a Jamboard! It can be used on a personal computer and on an actual Jamboard! We had access to one located in METRC!๐@NCStateCEDMETRC
