@MsScienceman That is so awesome that students were able to share on such a personal topic! How do you think you built relationships through the semester so that the students felt safe to share?
@msemersongrace I love that you had a little lesson time, but also time for them to try it! Did students have a prompt for the poem or could it be about anything? I see benefits to both!
@ClassLaws@lyndon_history I love that you made a theme that students are currently into that is such a great idea! I think getting students competitive is a great way to keep them engaged!
@MsLeeintheLab @NCStateCED@MrJones_Teaches@MariaMReyes0513@CCMMSRedwolves This is so awesome! I love that you used hands-on learning because I know that I always preferred to try things for myself and that helped me remember it! Going forward, it's not very likely that we have 4-5 adults in the room so how could you incorporate this into a classroom?
@MsSutton_Math I love that you used a scavenger hunt as your activity! That used to be one of my favorite things to do in class because I loved anything that could get me out of the chair that I sit in all day at school. How did you set this up? Was it just in the room or all around the halls?
It was an amazing experience and the students had so much fun they didn't even want to go to lunch. After this experience, I will definitely be incorporating games into my classroom. Thank you to @FosterMissi for hosting us in her classroom and for such a great semester!
