Not talking about physical abuse. A teacher-activist is far more likely to put their agenda ahead of the child’s best interests and encourage the child to pursue a course of action they may have only been flirting with. That’s abuse from a position of trust. Contrary to the asinine slogans of trans-activists, children DON’T know who they are or what they’ll be; childhood is a learning process where a child’s self image can change massively. Taking a snapshot at one point in time and telling a child that how they feel now is how they’ll feel forever is insanely irresponsible and abusive.

I was watching that sitting of the committee. Thank you for raising the subject of detransitioners and for highlighting the appalling way an autistic young man was fast tracked to surgery without passing proper tests of his competence to make such a self-destructive decision. Those who signed off on his mutilation should be struck off.
