It's not a valid story because anyone who pays any remote attention or consumes ukrainian content can clearly and plainly hear them frequently speak russia, because it's not a controversial thing to do. The entire premise is fantasy
31.07.2014: Russian fighters shell the village of Pridoroshnoe (47.855764, 37.968038) with an AGS-17 grenade launcher. Their excited cheers reveal how much they enjoy firing at the village, even as one of them explicitly warns: “There are civilians there.”
@Aurelians_Wall@K9Fiferr@theguy64355 Vicky Nuland seen w a bag of cookies for 0.0045% of Euromaidan's duration / caught on tape actively trying to prop up a pro russian president, and you're desperate to think itmeans u can ignore 100s of years of russo-Ukraine history if you can keep egging on fascist aggresion
@Aurelians_Wall@CriticGOAT@dissentdissent@ManBanality the historical precedent that despots in the kremlin have sent hoards of serfs to neighbouring countries to r4pe, loot, burn, and pillage for hundreds of years and spent every year since 1991 either threatening to do it again or actually doing it
The @GOP must be thrilled that 11 days before elections, we learn that the Trump family secretly orchestrated a deal to allow Russians to drill Alaska in exchange for a $25 billion "investment" funneled through their proxies.
@tkpearson@forkop69@bread157@BmoreOrganized Soviet supplies are very relevant to this story, it's why hitler signed the ML pact. He didn't have what he needed to invade western europe. The soviets provided it and then congratulated him on raping western europ
@Forever_noir_@LanguageIearner@Drake77309767@jambojeremy Because you are manufacturing the consent required for the unmitigated wholesale slaughter of both him and ukrainian women and children and in doing so straightforwardly doing the propaganda work of a foreign fascist regime
US energy company execs have resigned in disgust as the Trump family is caught secretly expediting the funneling of $25 billion from a sanctioned Russian energy giant in exchange for allowing Russians to obtain a natural gas project in Alaska.
According to investigations by The New York Times and Financial Times, Russia's Novatek allegedly concealed its financial involvement in the American project through a UAE-linked intermediary.
Gentry Beach, a longtime Trump ally and close friend of Donald Trump Jr., signed an agreement with Novatek to pursue natural gas development in Alaska. Reuters documented the arrangement in February.
Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin discussed this cooperation on the Alaska energy project with Trump's representatives, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, during negotiations involving Russia and Ukraine.
The controversy deepened when Polar Train LNG's CEO, Joel Riddle, raised concerns about concealed Russian financing and possible sanctions violations. He departed in September, followed by other senior executives.
The Financial Times also described discussions about a potential arrangement under which Novatek would provide technology for the Alaska project in exchange for sanctions relief benefiting its Arctic LNG 2 development in Siberia.
According to The New York Times, Riddle and two other departing executives warned the Trump administration about the Russian financing and urged officials to investigate.
The White House maintains that the project was mentioned only briefly and that no detailed discussions took place. There is no established evidence that Kushner or Witkoff knew about the allegedly concealed financing. Polar Train LNG denies wrongdoing.
The central question is how a sanctioned Russian energy company became involved in a major American energy venture while Putin was discussing potential economic cooperation with Trump's representatives and a longtime Trump family associate was pursuing a separate agreement with the same Russian company.
Selling Alaska to the Russians or selling Ukraine to the Russians - to the Trump family it's all the same.

@rbmk000@7scar123@grimmmnm 'Givi gets smoked by FSB rpg' would have made a great headline but literally noone outside of 2014 watchers can distinguish one russian b4byr4per from the next. How famous do you think he is?
