Tampering with constitutional timelines is a political crime that undermines the legitimacy of the state. Citizens’ interests are a red line, and persisting in procrastination opens the door to risks that threaten the country’s security amid turbulent regional circumstances.

على امتداد هذا الموسم، لم تكن الجلسات مجرد نقاشات، بل مساحة حقيقية لتفكيك الأسئلة ال��برى التي تواجه العراق في عالم يعاد تشكيله ��ياسيا واقتصاديا وتقنيا. يفرض إيقاعه، ويكافئ من يملك الرؤية والقدرة على التكيّف.

تناول هذا الموسم موقع العراق في عالمٍ متغير، وناقش سبل التعامل مع تحولاته بما يعزز من قدرة الدولة على التكيف واتخاذ القرار.

With the conclusion of the sixth season of Iraqi Home Salon, under the theme “Iraq and the Next World,” we close one chapter of dialogue to open another.

Throughout this season, the sessions were not merely discussions, but a space to unpack the major questions facing Iraq in a world being reshaped politically, economically, and technologically—a world that sets its own pace and rewards those with vision and the ability to adapt.

This season addressed Iraq’s position in a changing world and explored ways to engage with its transformations in a manner that enhances the state’s capacity to adapt and make decisions.

The importance of adhering to the Constitution and respecting constitutional timelines to form a new government as soon as possible, in a way that enhances the stability of the state and its ability to deal with the changes and challenges imposed by the current regional circumstances.

This was stated by Ammar Al-Hakim, head of the National Wisdom Movement, during his participation in the third session of the sixth season of the Iraqi Home Salon, which was moderated by journalist Omar Al-Shaher.

The Iraqi Home Salon, attended by Minister of Justice Dr. Khaled Shwani and the Head of the Parliamentary Human Rights Committee, Mr. Arshad Al-Salihi, discussed the decline of freedoms in Iraq according to international indicators and reports issued by global human rights organizations, in addition to the deterioration of democracy.

The guests of #Iraqi_Home_Salon highlighted the significant role of political movements and organizations in supporting and empowering national voices and free pens. They also addressed the failure of the Iraqi Parliament, particularly in its current session, to counter attempts to restrict public freedoms.

The discussion was moderated by journalist Mohammed Al-Bassem, amid in-depth conversations on ways to outline a roadmap for taking clear steps toward resolving crises and issues related to human and political rights.

The reform of legislation aimed at enhancing investments and fostering a secure and attractive environment for capital was discussed during a meeting between the President of the "Iraqi Home" Movement, Mr. Mohi Al-Ansari, and the Minister of Construction, Housing, and Public Municipalities, Mr. Bangen Rekani.

The discussion emphasized the importance of adopting renewed economic visions that strengthen strategic planning and reduce reliance on oil revenues. This approach aims to open new horizons for reconstruction and sustainable development projects while integrating youth into the labor market.

The "Iraqi Home" Salon concluded its third discussion session in its fifth edition, titled "Women in Political and Public Life: Between Constitutional Protection and Violations of Implementation."

- Mrs. Hana’a Adour, Human Rights Activist and President of the Iraqi Women's Network.
- Zeinab Jawad, Human Rights Activist and Advocate.
