Today, I was carrying out a ₦3 million P2P transaction when the merchant accidentally paid me twice. Instead of sending ₦3 million, he sent ₦3 million twice, making it ₦6 million.

He's a fellow Northerner, and he immediately called me to explain the mistake. I genuinely want to see more of our people succeed in this industry and help build a reputation for honesty and trust. That's why it's important that we support and encourage one another to always do the right thing.

If it had been a different merchant and you mistakenly sent them an extra ₦3 million, you might never get it back. Some people would even try to disappear with your money.
