@LaraShout I'm curious how this works with the key also being in the env file. That one left as plain text? Also kind of defeats the purpose of encrypting if the key is right there...
@tobias_petry@MySQL@mariadb I've noticed some very different handling of overlapping indexes between the two. MySQL seems better at selecting the most efficient index to use for a query.
@nicolasmelo@zachlloydtweets Accidents happen, and it wouldn't be the first time a company collected more data than they meant to. The fact that the possibility exists is enough for me to disregard the app.
@nicolasmelo@zachlloydtweets It's clearly so they can transition to a SAAS model later, once they have a captive audience. It was a real turnoff for me too. Also uninstalled, though I did register to at least see if it was worth it.
@nicolasmelo@zachlloydtweets Aslo let's be clear, the fact they are not collecting terminal input is *not* to be commended. That data collection exists in any form, on such a sensitive app, is highly concerning.
