HEC blames university for not sending students data, while university accuses HEC of intentional delays. This blame game is harming students only.
We demand this committee to immediately identify the exact cause of delay & a criminal case be filed against the culprits — whether university management or HEC officials.
Enough of this accountability evasion!

پاکستان میں اعلیٰ تعلیم کے معیار اور طلبہ کے حقوق کے تحفظ کی ذمہ داری ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن (HEC) پر عائد ہوتی ہے۔ افسوس کے ساتھ کہنا پڑتا ہے کہ آج ملک بھر کے تقریباً 54 ہزار طلبہ ایک ایسے بحران کا شکار ہیں جس کی ذمہ داری ان پر نہیں بلکہ نظام کی ناکامیوں، ادارہ جاتی غفلت اور ناقص نگرانی پر عائد ہوتی ہے۔

ضرورت اس امر کی ہے کہ انصاف ہوتا ہوا بھی نظر آئے، اور اس بار سزا ان لوگوں کو ملے جن کی غفلت نے یہ بحران پیدا کیا، نہ کہ ان طلبہ کو جو خود اس نظام کی ناکامی کا شکار بنے.

HEC has revamped the Degree Attestation System (DAS) by introducing a fully online and paperless attestation mechanism to facilitate students and graduates across Pakistan.

Under the new system, applicants will no longer be required to physically visit HEC offices or submit original documents. Applications for online attestation can now be submitted 24/7 through the HEC e-Services Portal.

The new e-Attestation Certificate system is designed to provide a secure, efficient, and user-friendly process, with online verification available for attested documents and certificates.

The upgraded online Degree Attestation System will be launched and become effective from 11 May 2026.
