Did Pakistan become an indirect #NATO member? The logic goes: if anyone attacks #Pakistan, it would be treated as an attack on #Turkey . Because an attack on Turkey triggers NATO's #collective #defense, an attack on Pakistan would theoretically be viewed as an attack on NATO. 😝

Lawlessness in the borderlands continues, the Darpakhels that own one third of Miranshah in North Waziristan neighbouring Afghanistan on the border, had held a pact with the Taliban to remain out of their territory. Last night, some of them entered the tribes domain to ask for food and lodging.
Saifullah Dawar, the head of the Jirga asked them to leave through an exchange of words that exasperated the militants. They told him their agreement was with another group of Taliban and not with the ones that had come forward with the demands.
They left to return early morning, calling him out of his home, executing him.
The tribe and the Taliban have both taken up arms against each other since then . There were at least 7 casualties, mostly injuries reported from the district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province till midday, local sources said. There was no official word about the incident.
