His research examined how malnutrition and acute illness interact to influence outcomes among children hospitalised in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. The findings highlight the need for integrated strategies that support children during and after hospitalisation to improve survival, growth, and long-term health outcomes in resource-limited settings.
