🚨 SCIENTISTS JUST CREATED MATTER FROM PURE LIGHT.
For the first time in laboratory history, researchers smashed high-energy photons together and directly produced matter and antimatter particles.
No atoms.
No pre-existing matter.
Just light turning into mass.
It’s called the Breit–Wheeler process a phenomenon predicted in 1934…
…but never directly observed in a controlled experiment until now.
Einstein was right all along:
E = mc²
Energy and matter are fundamentally interchangeable.
And now scientists have literally watched light transform into particles.
The experiment used ultra-powerful lasers to collide photons with enough energy to create:
• electrons
• positrons
• bursts of pure matter-antimatter pairs
The deeper implication is staggering:
The solid universe around you may ultimately be condensed energy structures frozen into stable form.
Matter may not be the “base layer” of reality at all.
Light came first.
And under extreme conditions… reality can crystallize directly out of energy itself.
This also mirrors conditions believed to exist moments after the Big Bang when the early universe was so energetic that matter continuously formed from radiation.
We are now recreating pieces of the birth of the universe inside a laboratory.
What happens when humans learn to engineer matter directly from energy at scale?

Crimson Desert developers are truly one of the best development teams in the world.
It's almost impossible to deliver so many amazing updates every week in such a short period of time.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a Crimson Desert DLC soon. Maybe it's already 80% complete.
The 2030s will not feel like just an extension of today, but more like a new version of civilization.
Robots, superhuman AI (math breakthrough from 2 days ago is a good example), quantum computing, even gene editing, this is all 2020s stuff.
During the 2030s, we will get technologies and capabilities that seem alien today.
Full-dive VR, aging reversal, replicators (or extremely advanced 3d printing) are just 3 examples.
Add millions more technologies at this level, and you will have a rough idea of how alien (but amazing), the 2030s world will be.
If we increase global available compute by just 2x, amazing things will start happening in technology and science. Increasing it by 10x will give us an entirely new world.
Some context:
A 10x increase in compute should make it easy for AI labs to train a new generation of 100T+ parameter models. We will likely see first Quadrillion scale AI's.
Models in the 200T–1Q range should be intelligent enough to understand aging deeply and figure out how to reverse it.
Models in the 100T–200T = AGI (very likely)
Models in the 200T–1Q range = "weak" ASI - very strong ASI (unbelievable things will happen when we reach the 200T+ scale).
Now the key question: when do we get these capabilities? Looking at the current trends, pace of progress (plus acceleration)
IMO we will get there as early as the late 2020s.
