The complaint regarding food quality raised by a passenger in train number 21896 (Patna - Tatanagar Vande Bharat Express) on 15 March 2026 has been taken seriously. Action taken — IRCTC has been penalised ₹10 lakh, the service provider has been penalised with ₹50 lakh, and ordered to terminate the contact. Passenger safety and quality remain our top priority.

Action taken by @MumbaiPolice on direction of superiors at mazgaon on railway property on Desiel mafia. However all efforts are being made to prove that oil in barrels are not Desiel as it will call serious sections on the owner.
1. Samples taken without video recording.
2. Samples taken only from the cans containing black oil and didn't open metal barrels.
3. Complainants were not informed while verification and sample collection of oil.
4. Rationing Department not involved to identify the oil.
5. RPF not called even though godown belonged to railway.

We cant deny possibility that desiel barrels could be replaced overnight as it seems culprit is being supported.
