- fever isn’t dangerous, even it’s it’s 39-40°
- it’s normal for kids to eat little when sick, hydration is most important
- most things don’t need antibiotics

@sridhartweet @jmugele @bachyns The vaccine takes time, 10-14 days if I remember correctly, to develop the antibodies, which is why you need to wait 21 days for the second dose (14 days+7 for good measure)

60% of people have a full immune respose two weeks after the first dose, 95% two weeks after the second

@AlanaKinrich I got lucky with a vascular surgeon on my rotation during a CEA and happened to guess right a few times in a row and he had me first assist the rest of the case, including following for his vascular sutures... Almost 10 years as an EM Nurse, I've never been more scared than that.

@Basalus I see pacer spikes after complexes and maybe little atrial pacer spikes that have questionable capture? Then maybe sensing the qrs complex as the atrial depolarization and trying to v pace again (unsuccessfully) in the refractory period?
