I love using Puzzle Island for reading skills! Children have to use inferences from the picture to discover what the blacked-out words are. Then once complete, they use skimming & scanning skills to find 4 hidden animals in the image!
(Hint: there’s a cat, cow, dog and hen!) 📚
Pupils had the task of putting major bones and muscles into a rap trying to incorperate as much key vocabulary as possible!

@primaryteachew I did an English Language degree too, and the only time the different tenses came up was during the TEFL modules! LOVE teaching grammar though :D Also, this may be helpful with the different tenses.
