Last week I didn’t go to my school; instead, I went to Madison, WMEA conference! It was very nice to come back and learn new things that will help me in the future when I’m a Music teacher! #EDU310

#EDU310 I love helping out the percussion section and teaching new stuff to the percussionists! Last week I taught how to do the “flam” on percussion and helped with tricky rhythms. I love seeing progress!!!

I felt amazing during my last observation! Why? Because the students finally “got” how to get a sound on the flute! It’s been a long time, but they finally overcame the hurdle and it makes me so proud!!!

I am a bit sad that my middle school band class I am observing are rehearsing for only 40 minutes in the school’s cafeteria; I hope the school understands that it is not the most efficient way for the students to learn. #EDU310

I love seeing progress so much! During my observation today, I helped out the flutes to get out a sound; It is still tricky for them to do so but it’s getting better - I remember myself when I was a beginner and how I struggled at first too. Practice makes perfect! #EDU310

Overall, my first two days of observation classes went pretty well! I realized it is quite challenging to teach students different instruments and be successful during the first lessons... BUT! You also learn with your students! So that's nice. #EDU310
