@chrisrobovan The past 6 weeks I've been doing a national park tour in a new Model 3. FSD has driven all of Going to the Sun road, and Hwy 180 to King's Canyon.

There's a special pucker to a 4000 foot cliff, tires 10" from the edge, in FSD.

I just completed the first leg of my National Park Tour in a new Tesla model 3. Free Supercharging. 11,000 miles, 90% FSD including Going To The Sun road, and Hwy 180 in Sierra National Park/Kings Canyon NP. Electric car in the remotest parts of America, FSD on dangerous roads.

@stevepicray @elonmusk It wasn't the ugliness that made me go model 3 over cybertruck. It was that stupid tonneau cover. I had one just like it on an F450, and the ice and snow in the tracks is a real PITA.

@stevepicray @elonmusk It's not a design choice, it's a materials choice. Stainless just absolutely does not form in a press like sheet metal. Aluminum is not as problematic as S.S., but S.S. basically you can break straightish angles in forming without needing pressures that are insane.
