@KFluffy3@LizzyStarrrdust And no, this has nothing to do with their worth; people can have deep and intimate non-sexual relationships. Entering into a sexual relationship should be done with intention to fulfill it or not entered in at all; it's a major responsibility and has to be taken seriously
@KFluffy3@LizzyStarrrdust mistreat/abandon someone you promised to love for the rest of your days though; I'm just saying it's not a real marriage if your spouse is a total and complete comatose vegetable
@Anna616q@thy_egoist@man_of_options Not a fan of this definition because it's ignoring one of the largest components of marriage/sexual relationships, which is children.
Children are owed stability from their birth parents, which requires a deeper commitment than boyfriend/girlfriend
@KFluffy3@LizzyStarrrdust The only good reason would be if I was dead tbh
It's an extremely big deal for me. It's proof of love and desire, and I can only give and receive it with one other person whom I entrusted myself with. Giving up on it would be the same as giving up on me.
@quantaxtrep@NukedFanAccount ...which is why, in the context of games, we specify physics to mean a certain thing. It is misleading to refer to visual effects, animations, and projectiles as physics because all of these can be made without physics models.
@emilykmay This would not be the result of feminism.
I value the same world that you do, but it's not acquired by trying to abolish gender differences because the people trying to do that are motivated by hatred of either the other gender or their own.
@gigglesandrage@emilykmay Respectfully, I don't think you know what you're talking about.
The only men that don't want to be likable with women are homosexuals or extremely disagreeable and antisocial monsters.
@LovelyLaurenOG@BlubAtomic 2. and yeah I brought up the possibility of marriage very quickly because I really liked her and made my intentions clear because pretending anything else is kinda stupid imo
@LovelyLaurenOG@BlubAtomic 1. Depends on the situation bc I wouldn't mess with any of my friends with boyfriends, but would if they were single, probably. This is pretty normal tbh given how sexually-oriented men are and how open modern culture is about it, this shouldn't surprise you at all
@LovelyLaurenOG@BlubAtomic I'm kinda sexually attracted to my female friends and they know it, it's really no big deal
I'm a Christian and wouldn't act on it unless I was married to them so nothing happens
It's chill and real and honest
