Gov. Gavin Newsom is not so different from President Donald Trump when it comes to his mental health and homelessness policy. In many ways, they're mirrors of each other with Newsom often beating Trump to the punch on horrifying policy to criminalize camping, increase sweeps, and force the unhoused and people with disabilities into locked settings. This policy DOES NOT WORK, no matter which side of the aisle it comes from.
