A new heritage-related term "Visual Catchment Area" = VCA coined by our member Ar. Nadge Ariffin @NADGE1, which means the entire area around a (heritage) site that can be visually seen from/within the site, where any (new) structure can impact its views.

Pentarikhan laboratori utk #SungaiBatu menunjukkan tarikh 788 SM. Belum ada struktur jelas lain di Asia Tenggara yg lebih tua. Bandingan Candi Borobudur dibina hampir 1500 tahun kemudian antara l/k 778-850 AD diikuti Candi Prambanan l/k 847 AD, Angkor Wat lagi lambat 1110-1150an.

Di Malaysia sudah terbukti secara fizikal wujud kerajaan Kedah Tua yakni Peradaban Sungai Batu yg ditarikhkan sejak tahun 788 SM (sebelum Masihi; 2800 tahun lalu), yg juga mencerminkan yg tertulis dlm Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa. #SungaiBatu #KedahTua
