Since the 1980s, Xerox and Canon made a secret deal with the US Secret Service. every color laser printer now embeds invisible yellow dots on every single page it produces. too small to see with the naked eye. they repeat up to 150 times per page so they survive cropping, damage, even shredding.

the dots encode:
— your printer's serial number
— the exact date and time of printing
— the manufacturer

no law requires manufacturers to tell you this. most printer manuals don't mention it. you almost certainly didn't know.

The first use case was counterfeiting. catching people printing fake money. reasonable.

Then, in 2017, Reality Winner printed a classified NSA document and mailed it to journalists. investigators cross-referenced the yellow dots with security footage. she was identified, arrested, and sentenced to 5 years.

Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK) was founded by leftist Islamists to oppose the western-backed Pahlavi, and participated in his 1979 overthrow. Khomeini barred MEK afterwards. MEK was implicated in multiple bombings, including that of Americans, and remained an openly armed group until 2003.

Since they got de-listed as a terrorist organization in 2012 on procedural grounds, MEK and their fronts have been actively recruiting US politicians selling themselves as a moderate alternative to Khomeini. But RAND Corporation says MEK meets the qualifications for a cult, citing criteria such as forcing their members to work 16+ hour days and forced divorces.

Polls of the Iranian-American community shows that they do NOT accept Rajavi, MeK's leader, as legitimate, with a 46-point net disapproval - numbers nearly as bad as the existing regime.

The 5 most common infant cries. Often categorized by pediatricians or the Dunstan Baby Language framework, these translate to: Hunger, Tiredness, Burping needed, Gas, and General Discomfort. Recognizing the specific sound and accompanying body language helps parents respond to their baby's exact need.

1. "Neh" (Hunger)
The Sound: Short, rhythmic sounds created by the tongue being pushed against the roof of the mouth.
The Meaning: The baby is hungry.
Physical Clues: They may also be clenching their fists, smacking their lips, or turning their heads toward your chest.

2. "Eh" (Need to Burp)

This is the kind of thing that haunts families, and it haunts me and my deputies.  All because a prosecutor won't prosecute a crime.

A man cosplaying as a woman sexually assaults a young lady as part of a sport.  It's on tape.

That's what happened.  We recommended charges.  The Pierce County prosecutor declined to charge and says the fact that it was a man doesn't have any bearing on the assault.

It's right there. On video.  They don't want you to believe your own eyes.  It's gaslighting.  It's awful.
