Built a small directory of AI creative tools for Shopify DTC brands — product photos, UGC-style video, ad creatives.
Not a Shopify product. Not an Amazon suite. Just the tools people actually use for creative.

@DylanJordanW 21 carts but no purchases is useful info, it usually means the hook worked and the offer or landing page didn't. Worth checking where they drop between cart and checkout.
Studio vs AI backgrounds is the wrong fight. A studio day buys masters you keep. A background tool buys variants around a master you already trust. Count heroes and months before you compare a day rate to a seat.

@sahilsharma_ai Worth testing 3-4 different hooks on the same product before raising budget again. When ROAS drops at scale it's often creative fatigue, not the product itself.
BFCM tip: volume without a kill process is just noise.
Make 8–10 creative variants per hero SKU, then cut anything that doesn't beat your baseline CTR in 48 hours. AI tools make the batch cheap — the discipline is deleting most of them.
@Goldikam Buying from your own store on a phone is so underrated. I'd add one week-1 check: look at your PDP images on mobile. Half the time the hero shot is a cropped supplier photo. A clean reshoot (even an AI one) is cheap and lifts add-to-cart before traffic hits.
@hassancreatives Agree, and the bottleneck is usually volume. One hook won't survive a week of BFCM spend. We prep 3 openers per product now: same footage, new first 3 seconds, plus AI background swaps for statics. Cheap variants beat one polished ad.
@MalaikaMHere Pitch it, but as a bonus variant, not a replacement. Deliver the brief as asked plus one extra hook with your idea. If yours wins the test, you've earned a say on the next brief. Most brands running creative tests are happy to get a free extra angle.
@remy_abby Love the Kakra set styling. Curious how much of the final look came from art direction vs prompting in Higgsfield. In my experience the AI shot only looks premium when the packaging and props are this deliberate going in.
@the_onlycalvin The lead-ad phase is where most stores underinvest in creative. They run one "early access" static for 2 weeks and it fatigues by day 5.
@waliyibadmus Good list. I'd argue "same photos" is the tweak most stores skip, though.
Adding one in-context lifestyle shot and one scale/size shot to the top PDP images often moves add-to-cart more than copy changes. AI tools can make both from your existing packshot.
BFCM tip with ~4 weeks left: prove your ad angles before CPMs spike.
This week make 5–6 genuinely different statics and 1–2 UGC-style clips (AI tools make that a weekend job). Kill the losers by mid-November.

@Qasim2046716 Syncing straight into the Shopify media library is the part most photo tools skip. Exporting and re-uploading 200 SKUs by hand is what kills these projects.
Does it keep the original as a fallback? Would love to check it out for our directory.
@Sheriff0235 Would bump "test creatives" to #1. There's ~4 weeks left, so you need ad angles proven before CPMs spike.
The cheap way: make 5–6 genuinely different statics plus 1–2 UGC-style clips with AI tools this week, then kill the losers by mid-Nov.
@yuvrajkhavad Agree. A new theme on top of weak photos is still weak photos.
A cheap test before any redesign: swap the first image on your top 5 PDPs for an in-use lifestyle shot and watch add-to-cart for 2 weeks.
AI product shot tools make that a weekend job now.
@pobidowski 12k images from one merchant says a lot. Bulk catalog refresh is the gap most photo apps skip.
Worth adding: consistency checks (same angle and lighting across a collection) and keeping the original as a fallback.
Would love to list VizStage when it ships.
@JonnyEcomSupply The "not as expected" bucket is so often a photo problem.
Overly polished AI shots set the wrong expectation on color or scale.
Adding one true-to-life image with something for scale next to the hero shot cuts a surprising amount of those returns.
@ijharul_islam Super useful. The Etsy 4:3 crop catches so many people.
We shoot one master image and let an AI tool export each size. Photoroom/Claid make the white-bg Amazon version painless.
Square for Shopify, then crop down from there.
quick creative tip: before you brainstorm hooks, skim competitor 1-star reviews.
the complaints are already written in customer language. turn the sharpest ones into the first line of your next UGC script.

@mark_x_997 this is so real. the hook makes a promise and then the next 10 seconds go to setup. showing the payoff right after the reaction fixes most of it.
