@KIN110UofR @KIN110UofR Participating in the sport tennis requires many fees including renting courts, paying for lessons (private and group), and purchasing the tennis racquets and other equipment. This is a harder sport for lower-income families to participate in because of the high cost.

@KIN110UofR @KIN110UofR What are examples of improvements to youth sport that can address this problem? I think that if we gave more opportunities to less fortunate kids to be able to experience sports it will help the overall statistics of the dropout rate as well as the kids wellbeing.

@KIN110UofR @KIN110UofR growing up, I had a wooden playground with a metal slide, a merry-go-round and a teeter-totter that went at least 4 feet off the ground in each direction. Not until 2017 was the wooden playground taken away for a swing set that was up to date on all safety measures.
