@KIN110UofR At 16 I found out I have problems with my connective tissue meaning my joints are very unstable. Dance was not the cause but made it worse. I now have to live with it for the rest of my life. Has sport had a negative effect on your health too?

@KIN110UofR The city was going to build a wheelchair accessible waterslide at the Wascana Pool but it still has yet to happen. There is also only one accessible pool in Regina. Is it the government's responsibility to ensure facilities are accessible? I think yes, what about you?

@ZunairaSiddiqi @bducbjsjahboe @KIN110UofR Even making them safer and more accessible would help. There are two bus routes that stop in my area at one stop. To get anywhere is typically a 2+ hour journey. Let alone small towns or farms.

@KIN110UofR In my neighborhood there was an opportunity to have an outdoor rink and basketball court but it was shut down due to the not in my backyard mindset. Has something similar happened in another area of the city? If so, where?

@KIN110UofR It irks me that only some animals get the courtesy of proper safety education. When going hiking in bear country you are taught bear safety. So few people that swim or surf in shark areas know shark safety, leading to more incidents. Any thoughts?

@Myap12345 @KIN110UofR I think it will also change the perspective people have on sports. Example; artistic swimming are incredibly difficult but only on TV during the Olympics and are often seen as easy. I think it would also help by giving the athletes a platform to share the sport they love

@RoriArmitage25 @KIN110UofR Forcing accountability and other parents calling them. People are less likely to repeat behaviors when they receive a consequence. The best one I've seen was another parent telling someone off. Sometimes people don't realize how strange behavior is until it's called out.

@MeganStark394 @KIN110UofR I don't watch sports on TV unless it's the Olympics since the sports I follow aren't televised otherwise. I can watch either clips or fill competitions online for free. Why would I pay extra?

@DChiderah @KIN110UofR Considering all the damage that hazing has done I don't think it's ever a good thing. Especially when there are better options (Paintballing, laser tag, escape rooms) that achieve the same goal without the same levels of humiliation and harm

@caleb_akinade @KIN110UofR I think it can be both. When an athlete is discussed negatively it can drive them to disprove the public opinion. In other cases the pressure can cause the athletes to crumble. I do feel bad for athletes that have their entire career boiled down to one performance

@KIN110UofR During class we talked about the NFL player that took another player's helmet off and hit him with it during the game. From what I recall the player that got hit called the other a slur. I don't think we can ignore the racial violence that caused the physical violence

@CeannaF24 @KIN110UofR In dance competitions boys would typically score higher than girls even if they did not perform as well. It was in an effort to keep the boys dancing but it was so frustrating
