A rich foreigner is welcome; at least they contribute to the tax base and create jobs. But if a foreigner has no means to contribute to the economy and is only adding pressure to limited resources, they should go back home.
Whether you like it or not, illegal immigration hii Kenya is a ticking time bomb if left unchecked. There’s a proper process for entering and staying in a country.
Ata saa hii as a Kenyan, you can’t just walk into Burundi venye unataka. Why should Kenya be any different?
Please let us also use our brains. Ruto is a brukenge we agree, but lets not also pretend that immigrants are not a ticking time bomb in this country. We are a 3rd world nation with an unstable economy, and most of us are leaving hand to mouth. The moment these guys move from selling kahawas, kinyozis, Muturas, njugus and mandazi and now they infiltrate core businesses, waingie Nduthi,Jua kali,Mjengo, factories,it will be chaos
The same thing that happened when chinese immigrants fled to san francisco, the wages they were asking for were almost half of what american workers were being paid. Na ujue waburundi hawana shida kukaa wanne kwa bedsitter, watachukua hiyo mia tatu ya mhindi. Mia tatu itakusaidiaje wewe mkenya na uko na familia? Na rent? This is an issue we must address Rationally.
@newto_code_14 The fact that no Kenyan is doing those kind of businesses is the reason we should send those minions running back to their countries. Having an asset that you ain't using in your store doesn't give your neighbor the right to exploit it.
@sholard_mancity Kenyans trying to sound smart and empathetic but the truth remains we can't fix this country by allowing an influx of foreigners with zero capital investment to an already strained labour market ....All illegal foreigners must go
I know some people won't like this but, Africa is not one country.
Kenya belongs to Kenyans.
South Africa belongs to South Africans.
Ghana belongs to Ghanaians.
If you are in another African country illegally, leave. Get back legally.
Sovereignty is not xenophobia.
Any foreigner living and working in Kenya illegally is putting additional pressure on public resources without contributing through the proper tax system. Those who want to work in Kenya should obtain the appropriate work permits, which also enable them to acquire KRA PINs and
No they wont. Employers default to cheap labor because its more profit margins. A kenyan working in kenya that money revolves around kenya, they dont send it outside. Somalia funnel their money to somali, Burundians do the same even immigrants in the US funnel alot of money into kenya because thats where they are from thus the bigger value of an immigrant in Kenya doesnt benefit kenyans, it benefits their country where they are from, it displaces the kenyan native who couldn't compete with the low wages because a foreigner can do it cheaper, it shrinks the resources that were budgeted for the natives because they pay taxes i.e a hospital that was to serve 1M kenyans in Nairobi, now has an influx of 1M immigrants taping the same resources that they didnt pay for via taxes, this also happens in school etc etc. The examples are endless and this case studies are almost collapsing countries like the UK and US before Trump got in and closed the borders and started deportations. This are the facts, you have to help kenyans 1st because their welfare matters more than a foreigner.
@Showmore38@musakuru45 you dont get me,xenophobia is just a symptom of the problem. Each country has minimum wage bill set,its the work of the government to ensure every employer follows that. This stops the foregeiners or other kenyans from undercutting the market price of labour.

@musakuru45 its not about being joblesss they are resetting the market price of labour downwards.Since the minimum wage law is hard to enforce and they are not enough labour insepctors in the informal market employers get away with paying the employees wages far below the standard.
I want to remind you people:
That we're not above genocides...
And we have a genocidaire as president.
Anyway - keep these videos. There will come a time.
@athletician234@DukeofKituro@musakuru45 the minimum wage is set but not enforced, since it informal trading nothing is document its had to track the employers exploitng their workers
First thing we should do after jailing kasongo is planting trees, we need to replace every tree he cut down because it's our fault for allowing him to destroy the environment.
