@RTsedura69748 Online learning is an important 4IR tool. It’s a pity it isn’t easily reachable in some parts of the country. Education leaders are tasked with turning the tide #futuretrends

Absolutely. I may add that teachers do not need to be officially appointed in order to lead. They may become leaders through “emergent leadership” which refers to individuals leading in an organisation without being officially appointed.
Do you prefer to teach your child at home? If so, apply to the head of your PED to register your child for Home Education. The lessons you offer your child must fall within the scope of the following compulsory Grades: Grades 1-3, Grades 4-6, Grades 7-9.

While tablets and laptops offer modern educational tools, their sustainability in resource-scarce township/rural schools is questionable. Without infrastructure & support, gaps widen, contradicting the 'no child left behind' ethos. #DigitalDivide#FutureTrends📚💻
@MziPfukani Redeployment to a special school requires specific training to meet those students' unique needs. As a special needs educator, ensuring the right skills and training for such environments is crucial for effective teaching. #SpecialEducation#FutureTrends 📚🌟
@MuziGumbi675886 Everybody will benefit, no matter the scale of the benefit. For teachers and learners the learning process will be innovative & interesting. Businesses that sell 4IR devices will make profit & society already communicates easier #futuretrends
@MziPfukani My opinion is that a leader must not be afraid of change. You must accept the offer, adapt, and experience the learning curve of a special school. Both parties are not losing. You will still serve your job, but now, at a different environment and the employer avoids redundancies.
As a teacher-leader working at a mainstream school, if you were redeployed to a special school; what would be your expectation? Would you challenge the decision? Likewise, as a teacher-leader at a special school, do you wish to be redeployed to a mainstream school? #futuretrends
@tweedleD_5561 Such a leader is clearly part of a team and not the “boss” of a team. We learn from one another as colleagues despite position in the organisation #futuretrends

LSENs should not be left behind as Coding & Robotics is implemented at SA schools. Principals and teachers at such schools should ensure that they’re included in the entire implementation process #futuretrends

Lest we be taken for a ride, here are lists of all registered schools in SA per province. These lists are continuously updated and contain each school’s Emis number. It is easily accessible on the DBE website #futuretrends
Education White Paper 6, which focuses on inclusive & special needs education; was passed in 2001. In your undergraduate studies, were you taught anything pertaining to special needs education (SNE)? Do you have interest in SNE? #futuretrends
Do South African teachers really understand the 5 different school quintiles or it is merely assumed that they do because they’re education employees? #futuretrends
@LizeMarieL Absolutely Lize. Rewards are important but should be given with caution. I think intrinsic motivation should exceed extrinsic motivation #futuretrends
#FutureTrends Some Achievement-oriented leadership (path goal theory) will be welcomed in the schools of SA. School leaders can start initiating incentivised rewards for hard work. Might lead to new inspiration and motivation amongst teachers.

@nonhlekhoz46140 An advantage of digital learning as seen during the COVID-19 pandemic; is that even during times of crises learning can proceed without much hindrance. The government should invest in the purchase of digital learning tools and train teachers on their use #futuretrends
Embracing a global perspective and visionary leadership is crucial in education. How can educators cultivate a growth mindset to seamlessly adapt to digital teaching strategies? #FutureTrends

Malnutrition among Eastern Cape children is at crisis levels. But children are being neglected all over the country by the government.

@MziPfukani In a landscape where some educators resist rapid tech changes, leaders play a crucial role. Prioritizing support & fostering a culture of freedom to explore tech without fear of failure can empower educators to embrace and excel in the evolving education technology. #FutureTrends
