“Soon enough, the “need” to defend Trump will pass. He’ll be gone from the American scene. Then, you’ll stand in the wreckage of your own reputation and ask yourself, “Was it worth it?” The answer will be as clear then as it should be clear now. It’s not, and it never was.” https://t.co/lYeATCBtUz
@ShaunRainey@kealiiahyat@BirdnoMariano Well done capturing that! What the heck were the replay officials seeing to overturn that? That’s clearly a catch.
@GrizFanPod Wow. I was thinking the officials had to have an angle that showed something that we weren’t seeing on the broadcast to overturn that. That makes it so clear it was a catch.
@ShaunRainey So the refs messed up by putting a second on the clock. Does Vigen calling timeout prevent the refs from correcting that mistake? If he doesn’t call timeout, does Idaho even get to run another play?
@GrizFanPod@Bwahlberg Good news: punting game is solid now and improved from @Bwahlberg’s early fall camp concerns.
Bad news: The Griz punted 7 times against Utah Tech. Which is a much bigger concern.
Maybe Brint can write a clickbaity Substack about his concerns about the O so they improve too?
@ASchmidtacular Interesting take. I appreciate you engaging with my questions. One final one if you will indulge: how does this threat to America you outlined rate compared to a U.S. Congress that abdicates its Constitutional role and an Executive branch that doesn’t care about the rule of law?
@ASchmidtacular I’m sorry, I’m not trolling. I’m genuinely curious how someone could view any SCOTUS Justice’s opinions as an existential threat to America.
@HaikuJonah So you think they need to disagree with Trump no matter what? Even the article you’re highlighting, he calls Hegseth a “fine” pick, and I believe he started with a statement about how that wouldn’t be his first pick. Then he’s gone on to criticize Hegseth quite on his actions.
@HaikuJonah Have you read or listened to Charles Cooke at all in the last 10 years? That’s the only explanation I can come up with for how badly you’re misrepresenting him here.
@Bwahlberg I would have been shocked if Daines took the DHS role. DHS is the worst job to have in the Trump administration right now (even for a Trump fan). The only attractive part to it is that Noem was so incompetent and bad in the role, it’d be hard not to look better by comparison.
