Metal Lords (2022). A fun movie about teenage kids, their problems, and heavy metal. 🤘I liken this to kinda like School of Rock but with metal. Soundtrack is killer. And yes, one of the characters has a great name. Give it a watch!
NAYK Rating: Good
Ambulance (2022). Michael Bay strikes again. That dude still knows action. It’s got its rough spots, but it is enjoyable from beginning to end.

Deep Water (2022). I was rooting for Ben Affleck’s character the entire time, even when I figured out the twist early on
On a side note, I wish the snails had a bigger part. Thought it was going to be nefarious. Conotoxin, anyone? Would have been cool. But no.
NAYK Rating: Meh.
#XMovie (2022) was really well done. Acting. Writing. Script. Scenery. Cinematography. Sound. Editing. It’s brutal like TCM. It’s gory but not too over the top. If you like throwback slasher horror, I highly recommend you watch it.
I’m gonna be starting the podcast back up in April. I’d love to chat about music, movies, your fandoms, pop culture, or random fun Q&A. Ping me if you’re interested.

Fresh (2022). Give this a watch. I loved it. Sebastian Stan is wonderful in this role, but make no mistake, this is a horror film, not a rom com. So be warned. It’s got a nice soundtrack too.
NAYK Rating: The Shit
I really enjoyed Scream 2022. I thought it was well done but nothing will ever top Scream 1996. Check it out if you can.

Shang Chi was excellent. Enjoyed all of the martial arts action & humor in this origin story. Lots of heart. Please do not miss this one - if you feel comfortable going to a theater, go see it! Kudos to the entire cast. I give it my highest recommendation.
