@apendygraft@RealManSports The players know. The 4th official holds huge freaking signs up all game showing. Clock doesn’t stop for out of bounds to keep the game moving and flowing.
@RealManSports Like watching NBA players not play D and cherry pick layups or allowing NFL WRs line up anywhere across the line of scrimmage before a snap.
@AgencyGroupAI@StanDrunorcal@kola_wole_ The US didn’t ban any players from any country. Canada did ban a Ghana Midfielder and initially denied Ivory Coast players. Of course it’s not politicized though. The whole “Iranian Situation” was agreed by the Iranian Gov before the tourney. They literally had a 30-45 min trip.
@Moradzor@jd_hendo@HistoryWJacob I know it’s simple, but most Americans don’t just say that. We just make bad excuses. On a brighter note, I currently live in a very rural part of the US. ⚽️ just started here maybe 10 yrs ago. Our youth numbers already outnumber our traditional “big 3” 🏈 ⚾️ 🏀. It’s growing!
@Moradzor@jd_hendo@HistoryWJacob It’s simple why 🇺🇸 prefer 🏈 to ⚽️. Like Europe ⚽️, we 🇺🇸 start out in our own tribalistic feuds w/college 🏈 based on where we relate to. It transfers over to the NFL & teams near us or with our favorite players. People can’t put it to words so it turns into ⚽️ is dumb or boring
@jd_hendo@Moradzor@HistoryWJacob And most of the time 🏈 players are stationary in the huddle or waiting on the snap. The counter to that in soccer is when moving slow into position. Mbappe has been clocked at 22.8 mph on the field. DK Metcalf has been clocked at 22.2 mph. Don’t tell me they always go slow.
@HistoryWJacob Constant excitement where a game takes 3-3.5 hours to complete and the ball may have been in play 15 mins. I actually love both sports but all these points are more about misunderstanding/ignorance or preference than actual truths. We like 🏈 because that’s what we were raised on
@ClintFiore No flopping unless a linemen has to fake cramps so they can get defensive sub in, a WR needs a PI flag or QB needs a roughing penalty. In 🏈, the ball is only in play 11-18 mins o& 3 hours to complete , so I’m not sure about the constant excitement part either. It’s preference
@zwanzg_ I’ve been to Italy, Greece, Ireland, England, Iceland, Denmark, & Sweden, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, South Africa, & Japan. All great trips but I enjoy traveling stateside. Outside of historical architecture & art, the geography and food is better here and it’s much more convenient.
@Microinteracti1 Your entire timeline is littered with post about the US or mentioning the US, even more so than your own country. Brother, you’re obsessed. It’s weird.
