1/ Shielding a separatist outfit like NSCN (IM) is not activism—it is anti-India. When civilians stop, block & frisk Indian security forces, they are not “protecting communities”—they are protecting militancy and undermining the nation. @adgpi@official_dgar@crpfindia@BSF_India
No Kuki entered Tangkhul villages to cause terror. Instead, NSCN-IM cadres from the Tangkhul side came to Mulam Kuki Village, burned houses and during the ensuing gunfight with Kuki village volunteers, one of them, Horshokmi Jamang was killed only for the narrative to be twisted later.
If you initiate attacks, don’t expect a red carpet in return. Do Meitei and Tangkhul militants really think aggression will go unanswered?
A heartbreaking image from Mulam village after the reported attack. An innocent child, injured and lost,is still searching for her mother whose fate remains unknown.
@narendramodi@BJP4India
Where is “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao”? Is it just a political slogan,or does it really work?
To India’s government and media, this is not just a story this is a child’s life shattered, She is still waiting for her mother. How long will this continue? this child deserves more than silence She deserves safety, justice, and a future. #tangkhulmilitants
@Dhiren_Kh So are Meitei CSO’s COCOMI backed by militant group UNLF and AMUCO by militant group PLA . Both PLA and UNLF are still asking for Kangleipak and separation from India since 1960’s .
Strong condemnation of the unprovoked armed attack on Kuki villages of Mullam and Songphal on 24th April 2026 by Tangkhul militants. Peaceful civilians were targeted in the early hours, turning homes into sites of fear and destruction. This was not just violence it was a direct attack on innocent lives and dignity.

Two Killed as KIM Blames Tangkhul Terrorists for Mulam Village Attack, Seeks Central Forces
Songpi: April 24, 2026
The Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) on Thursday strongly condemned a dawn attack on Mulam Kuki Village in Ukhrul District, alleging heavily armed Tangkhul terrorists killed two villagers and torched at least 17 houses. The apex Kuki body said gunfire began at 1:00 AM before a coordinated assault at 5:30 AM forced residents to flee, leaving women and children displaced.
KIM identified the deceased as (L) Letlal, 43, and (L) Paominlun Haolai, 19, who died defending the village from the incursion. Terming it a “barbaric and premeditated” attack, KIM said the incident exposes the severe security vacuum for Kuki civilians in border areas adjoining Ukhrul. Many others were injured as homes were set ablaze during the raid.
Demanding immediate action, KIM called for large-scale deployment of Central Security Forces in Mulam and permanent outposts in vulnerable Kuki regions. It sought strict monitoring, time-bound arrests of perpetrators, and full compensation, rehabilitation, and medical aid for victims. KIM warned that continued inaction would worsen the situation and endanger more lives.
The statement urged the Kuki people to remain vigilant against threats to their “land, identity and our very existence.” KIM reiterated that Kukis have shown restraint despite provocations but will defend their people and land as guaranteed by the Constitution. It said state inefficiencies and terror attacks have inflicted “untold miseries” on the community.
Signed by Secretary Janghaolun Haokip, KIM’s release paid tribute to the “bravehearts” and said immediate steps are vital to restore confidence and uphold the rule of law. The Mulam attack has sharpened demands for central intervention amid ongoing violence and ceasefire violations in Manipur’s hill districts.

The Kuki village of Mullam came under attack by NSCN (Tangkhul) cadres.
In the aftermath, the attackers appear to be portraying themselves as victims through a coordinated public relations narrative.
This has to be taken most serious. The terrorist who attacked the Mulam Songphal a Kuki Zo village were airlifted for medication, whereas the injured villagers including women and children unattended. This much injustice. God help us.
“Mulam burns. Manipur suffers. BJP governments at the Centre and in the state stay busy with elections. And Narendra Modi and Amit Shah? Missing in action. This is not leadership it’s abandonment.”

The targeted attack on Mullam Village this morning is a failure of law and order in Manipur. With 2 Kuki volunteers killed and 15 homes razed by Tangkhul militants, the silence from the authorities is deafening. The media has a duty to report these facts without bias.
