@DrNickDalmon 'race to the bottom' ๐ฏ
Healthcare is really expensive!
Government needs to target the expensive, minimally helpful/harmful treatments that happen in the last 12 months of life
@Bender_Aus Tell me more about 'First Nations' history .... ?? The sad truth is that murder and disease killed vast numbers of people here before 1788 ('First Fleet') and little is left of their culture in the archeological record
@sophia_edw28123 It's a race to minimise wages
Ageing population with no real plan for managing their future care needs
People tend to not care until their loved one, or they themselves, need healthcare โน๏ธ
@drraja_ I agree! Her story is powerful and is actually about looking through the eyes of a patient. We're imperfect and sometimes forget how important these things are when dealing with emergencies and the daily grind
@SurrogConcern@thetimes@DHSCgovuk Human bodies are designed to procreate in their late teens- early 20s. Less complications for both mothers and babies, higher fertility.

Parents have her on a busy schedule with ๐ด after 10pm most nights
Some anxiety and tantrums seem like a normal response because an 8 year old shouldn't be in charge ๐
@ghost_wales ๐ฉ with inappropriate, aggressive behaviour over time
My clinical experience is that poor staff behaviour is a huge ๐ฉ for poor patient safety
Both thrive where management and quality assurance is weak. There's a lack of accountability all-round ๐ฅบ
