I am a Weed Scientist and Pesticide Applicaiton Technology Specialist with the University of Nebraska at the West Central Research and Extension Center.
What a year! Hot off the press the @UNLincoln 2020 Weed Science Research Report is available for viewing. We invite you to learn more about some of the #weed research that was conducted at the PAT Lab! https://t.co/yIc8tJHbeJ

I’m asking for your help! Please help get the word out that we would love to have pictures from #Ag all across the US. We want to honor the #AmericanFarmer. Visit https://t.co/uelmCjhWKw to submit.
All, I need you help! We need pictures of all types of Ag for all across the US. Submit your images today to be a part of a published coffee table book. https://t.co/b4kQimSddo #farmer#farming#coffeetablebook#agriculture#photography

https://t.co/QJN4octo25 There are no standard application parameters for applying pesticides with drones in the U.S. Application technology specialist Greg Kruger, @NECornExtension, discusses the hurdles that must be cleared before drones can be used for pesticide applications.
The first paper preview from my MS degree is now available online!
Glad to be part of this strong team @AC_Easterly@NE_DrylandCrops@NECornExtension and to be able to work with soil water management and cropping systems in the semi-arid western Nebraska.

@Thostenson Just because it is not the biggest problem sent mean it is NOT a problem and it doesn’t mean that it can’t be improved. Seems as though you have the cart ahead of the horse here.
@Canola_Cressman Be careful to stay within the operating pressure of any nozzle, more pressure can be counter intuitive as it creates more fines = less canopy penetration and 👆 drift. Have you consider an adjuvant like #InterLock to help increase the hits in the lower canopy? #optimaldropletsize
Adjuvants play a big role in the success of our #herbicide applications, but can also cause some major headaches. Click the link to our blog post on some tips and research findings for using them effectively. #UAEXweeds

Sprayers that tip when entering the field - every spring there's one or two. Why does this happen and how can it be avoided?
We discuss the factors in our new article:
