Mentors can access units in advance if they are helpful, whilst sticking to the overall sequence of the course. @NEUnion would like more flexibility on this aspect

ECTs and their mentors are struggling with the associated workload of #ECF. It should be achievable in the allotted time but, in reality, this is not the case. Even with the best will in the world, lots of schools are struggling to support new teachers.

ECTs must engage with the ECF CPD sessions but it is not a course to pass/fail. Induction is still passed on meeting the teacher standards, as it has been for a long time.
