That’s not the case. Any one of us can experience problems with alcohol at any point in our lives. And it’s no-one’s fault if we do find ourselves struggling.
The truth is we live in a society where alcohol is all around us. It’s promoted as we watch our favourite sports, advertised as we travel to work and prominently displayed in our supermarkets.
We should treat people with empathy and kindness, not blame, so that people don't feel stigmatised and can get the support they deserve.

Achieve Trafford are starting #AlcoholAwarenessWeek at Trafford General Hospital.
The Community Development Team and The Alcohol Liason Nurses visited staff on the wards to spread awareness of the dangers of alcohol and how to access inpatient and community support.
