That’s why I introduced the Veterans Full-Service Care and Access Act to deliver a full-service VA hospital to New Hampshire.

I’ll keep working across the aisle to hold the VA accountable and protect and expand access to the health services veterans need.

Marc and I were honored to be part of an incredible evening in Manchester with fellow Granite State veterans, military families, and community advocates celebrating the lives and honoring the sacrifice of Navy SEALs Dan Healy, Nate Hardy, and Blake Marston, as well as that of their Gold Star families.

Swim With A Mission provides critical funding to a number of terrific organizations throughout our state that support veterans and their families, which made it all the more inspiring to see how many Granite Staters turned out to support.

On top of all of that, it was humbling to hear the testimonials from Gold Star families on the 20th anniversary of Operation Redwings.

We must always honor their sacrifice and care for their families.

20 years ago today, five of my fellow Marines and a Navy sailor were killed and many more were injured when a suicide bomber rammed into their military vehicle in Fallujah.

Four of those killed were women, in the deadliest day for female servicemembers since 1945.

They tragically lost their lives because of security failures and antiquated policies.

Today, we're reminded of their service and sacrifice.
