@Dr_Done_@husseintaqi86@GHCardiology Would love to see some accountability but I suspect the original tweet was just social media firefighting. I won't hold my breath ๐คท
@parthaskar@Scotland2029 And this message isn't aimed at you @parthaskar because I know your work is so much more than your tweets, it's just a general point about being disproportionately comforted by online hype. The NHS remains racist and unaccountable
@parthaskar@Scotland2029 I do get that point. But it's easy to magnify such a little win like this and think it will make a difference in the bigger picture. It won't. Pay will, accountability will. Sassy tweets won't pay bills any more than the claps did. And they won't treat patients well either
@Scotland2029@parthaskar Yeah but what a big win the removal of locks is! Forget unimportant things like actual patient care, look at all those locked microwaves.
@parthaskar Hold on, who says this change didn't come from leadership? The doctor who tweeted about it didn't remove the locks, did they- leadership did, after the online pile-on. At least be fair to them when leaders show competence in their leadership.
@EmmaWiley16 @veggieequallife Any comment on Farah Jameel yet, though? If you can't comment can you at least say whether the BMA is silencing you, or whether you are choosing to prioritise your own BMA role over fairness and justice?
