Almost every Gynecologic surgeon I know has a story about being told that they “were wasting their talent” by doing an Ob/Gyn residency.
As though women don’t deserve great surgeons.
This #PrideMonth, we unite in celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community. Join the celebration by attending the 2023 UPMC Sponsored Pride Events in Pittsburgh, including Pittsburgh Pride Revolution, People's Pride PGH, and Lebo Pride.

I think ACOG should acknowledge this and make a public commitment to moving forward in the best interests of patient outcomes, which means promoting evidence based reproductive care, and lobbying for high value access to Gynecologic surgery. Lives depend on it.
Mortality rate:
Mifepristone 0.65/100,000
Penicillin 2/100,000
Phosphodiesterase inhibitors 4/100,000
We live in a post truth world. Facts are irrelevant.
The safest drug has the most regulation.
Tonight's District Court decision on #mifepristone "is inflammatory, brazenly substitutes the court’s judgment for that of trained professionals, and distorts the reality" of ACOG members and patients. Our full statement: https://t.co/F87EARs0zG
