After nearly three years of being believed killed alongside three of his brothers in Gaza, former Palestinian prisoner Adham Al-Banna has returned home alive after being released from Israeli prisons, in an emotional reunion that ended years of absence and uncertainty.
A jury has acquitted an activist of violent disorder at an Israeli-owned arms factory targeted by Palestine Action in August 2024.
William Plastow, 35, was acquitted on Monday at the Old Bailey due to what presiding Judge Patrick Field said was a lack of evidence over the incident in the Filton area of Bristol.
'The prosecution has not produced enough evidence against him to show that he intended that there would be a violent disorder at Filton or that he assisted anyone to commit that offence,' Field said.
