@USBornNRaised @AkrosBooks @stkirsch@barnes_law Thimerosal was removed from vaccines in 1999, yet ASD still exists/continues to be diagnosed. https://t.co/uIt4S5ntEn
It’s also a spectrum meaning various other diagnosis with other previous diagnosis added to it & ⬆️diagnostic awareness + knowledge +wider spectrum=⬆️diagnosis.
@USBornNRaised @AkrosBooks @stkirsch@barnes_law Just for clarification. Ethylmercury doesn’t cause neurotoxicity. METHYLmercury does. Guess which ones in the cans of tuna - there’s more of the neurotoxic mercury in a can of tuna than you childhood vaccine series. https://t.co/e4JVlcLtUX

Based on my ER shift tonight, and ER shift every night, I 100% agree with Opposition Leader and MPP Stiles. I would add a 4th idea - the largest expansion of staffed hospital bed capacity in the province's history. ERs just have no where to put people. @MaritStiles

@tskyliekarma@Hedzer15@CP24 There aren’t surgeries before age 18. That was what medical ethics boards chose.
People keep using the false information stating we perform these procedures on minors - which we don’t, as a fear-mongering tactic to push an agenda.
@BlueJay88874765@LearnerEducator@viver69@CP24 Good thing that kids can’t have these surgeries you’re talking about. There are these things called medical ethics boards in place. So why don’t we cut the “kids” part. Adults can consent to surgeries - kids can not. There’s many steps prior to surgery as an adult.
@trinkamali@CP24 Love the lack of education. Use of buzzwords and fear-mongering that anti-affirmative people choose to use.
Puberty Blockers - reversible.
Top/bottom surgeries - not performed on minors.
- So you can remove those points and are left with “Medical interventions.” 👍
@DavidSI58@useheadnheart@CP24 So your suggestion, just to be clear.
Is to create situations where youth are at risk and require CAS to investigate (After the damage is done) vs preventing said damage by allowing youth autonomy of their bodies? It’s no ones business how they identity, until they choose to tell
@itsReal777 @CP24 Just curious… does gender identity (a social construct) have anything to do with who has sex with who? Nope. We’ve learned that just because we use a pronoun like “he/him” doesn’t mean they’re gay or straight, rather that they identify as male. No sex lives there. Just identify
@mlalmeida@mskimmel@CP24@fordnation Just to clarify… they are RESPONSIBLE to provide the necessities of life:
- safe, accepting home
- food, water, shelter, etc
They don’t have a right to know how a child identifies, or about their sexuality. Those are personal things. If a youth feels safe, they’ll tell them.
@mlalmeida@CP24@fordnation What would those be? What would it be like if it was your child who was outed & subsequently rejected for who they are, bullied, shamed, abused and choose to end their life… rather then just come out when they’re ready to. Is the death of kids really what we need more of?
@ryd3v@useheadnheart@CP24 It’s good to know that what you *think* should govern the lives of all the youth in Ontario. How about we just stop making it an issue how youth identify. It’s no one’s right to force a youth out. There are reasons youth don’t tell parents, and when THEY are ready they will.
@MikeWhyte5@CP24 Agreed! It’s not just mental health, it’s the whole concept of accepting someone for who they tell us they are. It’s nobodies business to share or Out youth to parents/peers/govt’ etc. how about we just ASK the YOUTH how we should address them.
@My_Own_Opinions@jgoldik@CP24 There is such a thing as providing your pronouns in signatures on emails, or other means of communication. This is often so you don’t have to guess or use the wrong pronouns. How about… letting youth tell us things when THEY are ready.
Fluids and Early Vasopressors in the Management of Septic Shock: Do We Have the Right Answers Yet?
Conclusions
"Based on current evidence, the very early use of norepinephrine and its combination with smaller amounts of IV fluids in fluid-responsive hypotensive septic shock patients seems to be a safe strategy with better management results compared to large-volume fluids before vasopressor initiation. Vasopressor therapy should be initiated as soon as possible in patients with septic shock."
