for today's episode of Sirus Gaming Corner, we talk about all of the games that we played in 2024. I'm joined by @NPaetz13 and @ShintaiReviews
@AerithClouds What I really love about this scene is the fact that Clive, one of the kindest people who will do anything even for complete strangers, has absolutely no reaction to this. It shows that she was so awful to him that someone as kind as Clive has no kindness or empathy to offer.
@ForeheadFluff To be fair, Haru IS barely a character, she doesn’t join until about 3/4 into the game. While I don’t agree with any of the other statements, I don’t think it has anything to do with gender.
@RetroChaman@KisekiCouple Okay, XVI might have flaws, but comparing it to Forespoken is just wild. XVI didn’t give me secondhand embarrassment like that game did.
@poormrworry@chronotrigger73@KisekiCouple Really? I think they’re way better than most of the first game’s antagonists. Egil is really the only one that feels fleshed out. Everyone else is cartoonishly evil. I feel like the antagonists in 2 get more development and feel more humanized.
@MugenLord I didn’t really see Lightning as the protagonist. She might have been the face of the game, but XIII was a lot like FFVI in the sense that it had more of an ensemble cast. Lightning was about as much of a protagonist as Terra was.
@XeoNe0n@Arron_TK I haaaaaate when people just skip through the dialogue because they “read faster than the voice actor”, it just kills the immersion for me.
