And now, everyone - including the left and opposition -is supporting this woman.

But two years ago, when a girl reacted in the same way and got angry at farmers for blocking roads during the farmer protests, the same left-liberals and opposition heavily trolled and mocked her.

In both cases, the situation is the same - so why this double standard?

In 2021, a woman named Rekha Devi filed a gang-rape case and other offences under the SC/ST Act against 2 men in Barabanki district, UP.

When report was filed, she immediately received a fixed amount from the govt as relief.

Now, after 4 years, It has been found that she filed a false gang-rape case and also misued the SC/ST Act.

A court sentenced her to 7.5 years imprisonment for filing false cases and imposed a fine of Rs 2.1 lakh on her. The court also ordered that if Rekha had received any compensation for registering the case, it should be recovered immediately.
