The appointment of @Dr_Yathindra_S as the Urban Development Minister while the @dir_ed still investigating the high-profile MUDA case is a setback to the investigation.

It presents a clear conflict of interest, as his father, mother, and close associates are among those involved in the case. Dr. Yathindra Siddaramaiah's father and former Chief Minister, Shri @siddaramaiah , has often spoken about probity in public life, honesty, and integrity. However, his decision to allow his son to assume charge of the Urban Development Ministry at a time when members of his family and close associates are named in the MUDA case raises questions about adherence to those principles and the perception of conflict of interest.

His appointment raises legitimate concerns about the integrity of the investigation, including the possibility of influence over evidence and witnesses through the powers of his office.

In the interest of ensuring a fair and impartial investigation, the Chief Minister should immediately relieve Dr. Yathindra Siddaramaiah of the Urban Development portfolio until the investigation is concluded.

ಹಾವೇರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಹಾನಗಲ್ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ನರೇಗಲ್ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ 'ಕಾರ ಹುಣ್ಣಿಮೆಯ' ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸುವ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಟಾಕಿ ಸಿಡಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮುಸಲ್ಮಾನ ಯುವಕನೊಬ್ಬ ಹಬ್ಬ ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಇಬ್ಬರ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಾರಣಾಂತಿಕ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿದಿರುವುದು ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಿದೆ. ಪಟಾಕಿ ಹೊಡೆದದ್ದು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಹೊರತು ಇವರ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗಲ್ಲ. ಬೇರೆ ಧರ್ಮದ ಮೇಲೆ ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾದ ಅಸಹಿಷ್ಣುತೆ ಇರುವುದು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಖಂಡನೀಯ.

ಹಲ್ಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದವರನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಕೂಡಲೇ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದು ಗೂಂಡಾ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯಡಿ ಬಂಧಿಸಬೇಕು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ಅನಾವಶ್ಯಕವಾಗಿ ಗಲಾಟೆ, ಪ್ರಚೋದನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕಾನೂನು ರೀತ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಹಬ್ಬ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ವೇಳೆ ಉದ್ದೇಶಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಮುಸಲ್ಮಾನರ ಕಾಯಕವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾದ ಹಲ್ಲೆಗಳು ಮೊದಲೆನೆಯದೇನಲ್ಲ.

ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ, ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ, ನಾಗಮಂಗಲದಲ್ಲೂ ಇದೆ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಿತವಾದ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ನಡೆದಿತ್ತು. ಅಪಾರ ಪ್ರಮಾಣನವಾದ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ, ಖಾಸಗಿ ಆಸ್ತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಷ್ಟವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಹಲವರಿಗೆ ಮಾರಣಾಂತಿಕ ಗಾಯಗಳಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಅತಿಯಾದ ಅಲ್ಪ ಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರ ಓಲೈಕೆಯಿಂದ ಇವರ ಆಟಾಟೋಪ ಮಿತಿಮೀರಿದೆ. ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹಲ್ಲೆ ನಡೆಸುವ ಇಂತಹ ವಿಷಜಂತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಡೆಮುರಿಕಟ್ಟುವ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಲಿ.

Certain vested interests and their masters are spreading false and malicious information on me, weakening the party and going against the party line. Their theories are completely baseless and a litany of lies. These stories/scripts make a viable detective thriller but, in reality, show the helplessness of those who are unable to steer the party in the right line. The prospects of the party are nosediving due to the adjustment and family politics. Those blaming others for the defeat will only weaken the party.

With an intent to divert the defeat in the MLC polls, some copper-plated jackasses from the camp of the state head of the BJP are spreading false rumors that I voted for the Congress in the MLC polls.

The adjustment leader is politically at the lowest point, where despair, paranoia, and psychosis are lurking. Those who failed in their duties have now started the 'blame game.' The depraved mindset and sadistic conduct of the adjustment gang stand exposed. I have never voted for Congress and never will in the near future.

I have fulfilled the moral obligation of a BJP legislator and voted for the official candidate, in the legislative council elections. Those spreading canards should realize that they have completely weakened the organization and lost control over the legislators. Pushing the blame will only make them look ultra stupid and not revive the State BJP.

Storm Water Drains (SWDs) continue to remain clogged, and even a few minutes of heavy rain lead to inundation of roads. Lack of coordination among different agencies and encroachment of footpaths by commercial establishments have added to the city's problems. The earlier Bengaluru in-charge Minister only did 'Photo Ops' instead of taking concrete action. The weak governance is the result of indecision and the lack of vision to make the city a better place to live

The Bengaluru in-charge Minister now has the responsibility of making the city more livable, safe and secure.

ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ರೈತರು ಭೂ ಸ್ವಾದೀನದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಭೂ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನವನ್ನು ಕೈ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು.
ಎರಡನೆಯದಾಗಿ, ಡಿನೋಟಿಫಿಕೇಷನ್ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಜೈಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀವು ಬಿತ್ತರಿಸಬೇಡಿ. ಪರಿಸರ ನಾಶ, ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟವಾಗುವ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಭೂ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನವನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟು, denotify ಮಾಡಬಹುದು. ಡಿನೋಟಿಫಿಕೇಷನ್ ಮಾಡುವುದರಿಂದ ಖಾಸಗಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಗೆ, ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ, ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ, ರಿಯಲ್ ಎಸ್ಟೇಟ್ ಮಾಫಿಯಾ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಡಿನೋಟಿಫಿಕೇಷನ್ ಕಾನೂನುಬಾಹಿರ (illegal) ಆಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ನಿಮ್ಮ ತರ್ಕಾನುಸಾರ ಡಿನೋಟಿಫಿಕೇಷನ್ ಮಾಡುವುದು ತಪ್ಪಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ರೈತರ ಭೂ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನವನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಿನ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಮಂತ್ರಿ ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟಾಗ ತಾವು ಏಕೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ ?

ಬಿಡದಿಯ ಫಲವತ್ತಾದ ಜಮೀನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಬಗೆ ಬೆಳೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಯಬಹುದು. (Multicropping). ಅಲ್ಲದೆ, ಇಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನಿತ್ಯ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಲಕ್ಷಗಟ್ಟಲೆ ಹಾಲು ಸರಬರಾಜು ಆಗುತ್ತೆ. ಸಪೋಟ, ಹಲಸು, ಪೇರಳೆ, ರಾಗಿ, ಬಾಳೆ ಬೆಳೆದು ರೈತರು ಸಮೃದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ. ರೇಷ್ಮೆ ಕೃಷಿ ರೈತರ ಆದಾಯವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದೆ. ರೈತರು ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಧೃಡರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ. ಭೂತಾಯಿ ಬಿಡದಿಯ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹರಸಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ಕೃಷಿ ಆದಾಯದಿಂದ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸ ಆಗಿದೆ. ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಆರ್ಥಿಕತೆ ಕೃಷಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವಲಂಬಿತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಮೊಸಳೆ ಕಣ್ಣೀರನ್ನು ಹಾಕುವುದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ವಾಸ್ತವಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕೆ ಹೊರತು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಸುಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಬಾರದು.

ಇಂದು ಧರ್ಮಸ್ಥಳದ ಅಮೃತವರ್ಷಿಣಿ ಸಭಾಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಸನಮುಕ್ತರ ಸಮ್ಮಿಲನ ಹಾಗೂ ಶತದಿನೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ವ್ಯಸನಮುಕ್ತರ ಕಣ್ಣಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಬದುಕಿನ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆ. ಇದುವರೆಗೆ 2,063 ಮದ್ಯವರ್ಜನ ಶಿಬಿರಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ 1,38,000ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನರು ವ್ಯಸನಮುಕ್ತರಾಗಿ ಹೊಸ ಜೀವನದತ್ತ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಿಟ್ಟಿರುವುದು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ಸಂಗತಿ.

ವ್ಯಸನಮುಕ್ತರು ತಮ್ಮ ದೃಢಸಂಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಇತರರಿಗೂ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಾಗಿ ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯ ಹರಿಕಾರರಾಗಬೇಕು. ಇದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ನಿಜವಾದ ಯಶಸ್ಸು.
