NYR Weekend

Get Your Boots On is hosting the National Young Ramblers Weekend 2020. The weekend will be based in York and will take place from 5–7 June 2020.

This is my current MA thesis! Struggling to find participants currently, maybe @fillyaboots_ and @RamblersGB could help?

[NYR Weekend @NYRweekend]

Not that I know you guys are competitive but it's currently a three-way tie between @BerksWalkers , @StagWalkers and @SrryYngWalk … will one of you get ahead and get the prize for most people coming to NYR2020 … or is another group going to come from behind and sneak it?

@Agri_becca Don't forget to book your place too, Rebecca!

[NYR Weekend @NYRweekend]

@StagWalkers @RamblersGB You're top of the leaderboard at the moment, but @SrryYngWalk and @BerksWalkers are snapping at your heels 😆

@RochdaleRamble2 @RamblersGB The original aim of the Young Ramblers groups was to attract walkers in their 20s and 30s, although we recognise that many groups have grown to include 40s as well. We are not going to check dates of birth, but we would encourage everyone to remember the spirit of Young Ramblers.

NYR2020 is open for booking! You can sign up and book your place at https://t.co/k3dYC5Qk28.

The event will be based in York, with a range of amazing walks taking place on the North York Moors, Yorkshire Wolds and heading towards the Yorkshire Dales.

(Please note that this cost doesn't include accommodation. We've arranged a good deal with the city centre hotel where the Saturday evening event is taking place, for those that want to take that up, or you can arrange your own accommodation if you prefer)

This event is open to members of @RamblersGB and is aimed at walkers in their 20s, 30s and 40s. It's great fun, and an excellent way to meet people from other groups and see how they do things (we can all learn from each other!) and make new friends.

Thanks @BerksWalkers for the awesome write-up! Looking forward to welcoming you all to #NYR2020!
