Today, The Hague Group convened 40 states for a legal briefing on Israel’s new death penalty law for Palestinians (and not for Israelis). This new law, voted in the Knesset on March 30, is the latest chapter in Israel’s increasingly horrific Apartheid.

The meeting was held under strict Chatham House rules, so I’ll just share a a few considerations:

Israel’s new law establishes the death penalty by hanging which will be determined by military courts in the West Bank or civilian courts in Israel.

The law introduces the imposition of a mandatory death penalty for certain crimes, whether or not the prosecution has requested the death penalty in the first place.

The law precludes pardons, and establishes that executions must take place within 90 days of the sentence.

Israel’s military courts, of course, are not transparent. They both operate in secrecy and rely on secret evidence. These trials therefore are not fair trials.

It’s very important to understand these executions will amount to war crimes, especially given the military occupation Palestinians are subjected to. The judiciaries (including judges and prosecutors) involved in the commission of these war crimes will therefore be potentially subjected to international prosecution.

Moreover, it is already clear that the new death penalty law will add force to the case for genocidal intent that is at the core of South Africa’s ICJ case against Israel under the Genocide convention.

This article details what Jewish settlers in the West Bank did to a Palestinian family in Khirbet Hums.

1) they tied up the family and human rights activists (American and Portuguese)
2) they dragged the father in front of the family, pulled his pants down, and raped him in front of his family and the activists. then they doused him in water and beat him mercilessly.
3) they tore off women's headscarves, ripped their clothes, including young girls, and dragged them outside to be beaten again there.
4) one of the jew colonizers grabbed a 14 year old girl and slapped her over and over, while everyone was tied up, unable to help her. He threatened to take the girl to with him.
5) the jews then beat the 74 year old grandfather all over his body, and they threatened the family they would return, burn their home, rape everyone, and kill the children.

These demons have the full backing of the so called 'jewish state'.

This is Jewish supremacy. This is what every mainstream American Jewish organization supports, explicitly or tacitly. This is what the overwhelming of majority of American Jews support. It is what nearly all jewish Israelis support.

Normalize calling these parasites what they are.

I have a piece in the @nytimes today where I argue that the central assumption underpinning Trump’s diplomacy with Iran and his subsequent warmaking was that Tehran was on the verge of collapse.

This assumption first led him to insist that diplomacy had to deliver Iranian surrender - or war. It delivered war.

The same assumption - the unrealistic pursuit of Iranian surrender - is now causing his war to turn into a quagmire.

Trump is undermining his stated goals in other ways as well. He thinks he can find a defector within the theocracy willing to play the role of Venezuela's Dolsey.

But the Iranians see that Trump brags about having turned Venezuela effectively into an American colony and that one of the first decisions Dolsey had to swallow was to end oil sales to Cuba and begin shipping oil to Israel.

The Venezuelan option simply could not be any more unattractive to even the most eager Dolsey impersonator within the Iranian system.

I cannot see any credible leader in that system — a person who can mobilize others, keep the security establishment intact, and sell the deal to the population — that ever could accept such a complete shift in Iran’s orientation.

Kerajaan MADANI juga akan meneruskan usaha meningkatkan kecekapan pentadbiran dengan memperkemas birokrasi, mempercepatkan pendigitalan perkhidmatan awam, dan menyegerakan projek-projek rakyat seperti membaiki sekolah dan klinik daif, menutup jalan berlubang serta menambah lampu jalan.

Dalam masa yang sama, kebajikan rakyat kekal sebagai teras pentadbiran MADANI. Bantuan bersasar, sokongan kos sara hidup, peningkatan gaji penjawat awam serta inisiatif pendidikan dan kesihatan dilaksanakan bagi memastikan hasil pertumbuhan ekonomi kembali kepada rakyat.

Kesemua langkah ini saling melengkapi untuk merancakkan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang lebih mampan, memperkukuh keyakinan pelabur, dan memastikan kemakmuran negara dapat dinikmati secara lebih adil oleh seluruh rakyat.

Semoga usaha reformasi dan inisiatif untuk rakyat ini mengukuhkan usaha kita untuk menjamin masa depan Malaysia yang lebih adil dan bermaruah untuk semua.

a whistle-blower revealed that Israel paid for a multi-million dollar study to assess the best way to rehabilitate their tarnished image in the west. the study's main conclusion was that their reputation could not overcome genocide, but there was a viable path forward by promoting Islamophobia as a distraction. the study was clear that promulgating suspicion and hatred of Muslims was the only way to alleviate the damage to Israel's reputation.

I met the legendary UK Member of Parliament yesterday. He is legendary because he has been fighting for what he believes in for his entire political career since 1974 till now.

He believes in socialist cause when capitalism is on overdrive. He stood up against Apartheid when nobody did. He advocated for Palestinian statehood when the Western World strongly supported Israel. Last week he led 700,000 British protesters in London.

He has been elected as MP in Islington North since 1983 until today, for more than 42 years! He was former Labour Party Chief, and leader of the Opposition in UK Parliament. In 2024 he was expelled from Labour party. He stood against a strong Labour in 2024 and won! That was legendary too!

He is now 76, but his idealism and spirit is youthful and inspiring!
